put the mated female in a lg paper bag. she can lay her eggs in there. give her a new bag the next day she may lay more. you then can cut the paper where the eggs are and put them in a seperate container. this way you don't harm the eggs trying to pick them off the cage

that head movement is something they do in breeding .nothing to worry about mine does it to me once a week.

don't think of them as roaches I refer to them as dubia beatles. after awhile you just get use to them. I pick mine up,but then I have allways been a bug ,animal kind of girl. good luck

i took a old table cut some off the leggs some and made a frame to go on top . the frame kinda looks like a screen door. then added a upright on either side attached to the back at the leggs with a crossbar across the top . i have 2 swiviling plant hangers one on either side for the basking...

i say dubia beetles sounds a lot less freaky

i use this and dust lightly every feeding a little goes alond way

luna can feed on black walnut and that can be toxic they also can feed on birch those might be ok not sure

mine does. he streches right out and gets as much of it as he can
